This year, The Light Park takes center stage with three new locations in Little Elm, Frisco, and Arlington, opening November 7. This spectacular drive-thru experience features a mile-long display of lights synced to cheerful music, setting a perfect backdrop for family adventures.
Another lively addition is the Holiday at the Arboretum, which will feature upgraded illumination and artist-designed installations. Aside from the legendary "12 Days of Christmas" scene, attendees are invited to immerse themselves in a European-style Christmas village from November 12 to January 4.

Dallas is revitalizing many beloved drive-thru holiday light displays. Prairie Lights in Grand Prairie, opening November 27, invites guests to drive through a stunning 4 million light display curated along a two-mile path. Visitors can take a break from the lights with carnival rides and shopping, plus have their photos clicked with Santa.
Meanwhile, the Gift of Lights at Texas Motor Speedway features two miles of stunning holiday displays that will charm every guest from November 27 to January 4. Admission is $35-$60 per vehicle, making it an affordable and delightful option for holiday outings.
Community Neighborhood Displays
For a more intimate setting, neighborhood light displays offer magical experiences. The iconic Interlochen Lights in Arlington is a must-see, where more than 200 homes are elaborately decorated. This year marks its 50th anniversary, creating an even more special atmosphere for guests from December 13-25.
The charming community of Deerfield in Plano is another highlight, showcasing its elaborate displays between December 1 and 30. Visitors have the option of enjoying a carriage ride through this enchanting area, enhancing the overall holiday experience.
Immersive Lighting Experiences
For those seeking something truly unique, the Tianyu Lights Festival at the Texas Trust CU Theater in Grand Prairie will take guests through immersive scenes filled with larger-than-life lantern sculptures, running from November 7 to January 18. In addition, the Dallas Zoo Lights is back from November 14 to January 4, igniting the season with its festive displays.
