Libraries During and After the Pandemic
During the pandemic in 2020, many libraries, including Fort Worth's, saw a decline in physical footfall as safety concerns prompted a switch to digital resources. However, Fort Worth's library system has made significant strides in increasing in-person attendance, inching closer to pre-pandemic figures of 1.38 million visitors recorded in fiscal year 2019. Library director Midori Clark expressed pride in the library's ability to adapt and thrive despite challenges.

As Clark stated, "I am especially proud to be part of a team that completed several major projects while simultaneously delivering exceptional services and programs to the residents and guests of Fort Worth."
