It all began with a spark of inspiration when violist Dan Sigale sought a forum for chamber music. After discovering Spectrum, he was immediately drawn to its mission, where musicians enjoy the freedom to select their repertoire and engage with audiences in personal, meaningful ways. "I was excited about that outlet," Sigale reminisced, highlighting how the group has become a vibrant part of his life over the past two decades.
Adapting and Innovating in Tough Times
Like many organizations, the Spectrum faced significant challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. Yet, they not only adapted but thrived by pivoting to livestream concerts from their home base at All Peoples Church. This innovation meant that while physical doors closed, virtual connections blossomed, multiple attendees joining from far and wide.
